I see what i interpret as King Louis, but I cant understand the reference to the Ford theater or Lincoln, What was the play name that was being held the night of the assassination?

maybe it has something to do with that

I found out that http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_American_Cousin was playing but i cant see why the crown in the painting unless that is suppose to be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Dundreary and he is placing a crown on his head
